    Colonoscopy
A procedure where the physician inserts a flexible tube and camera into the rectum for the purpose of inspecting the colon. A colonoscopy can be done for many reasons; screening for colon cancer is the most common purpose.

    Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
A diagnostic procedure used to examine diseases of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas. During this procedure, the physician will use x-ray and endoscope to diagnose the problem.

An imaging procedure that physicians perform to help diagnose cancers or other problems of the liver, bile duct, gallbladder, pancreas or digestive tract.

    Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
The physician will use a thin tube with a light and camera on it to examine the esophagus, stomach and first part of the small bowel. This procedure is performed to help diagnose esophageal cancer, Barrett’s esophagus and ulcer disease.

    Hemorrhoidectomy

    Manometry
A diagnostic procedure where a small tube is inserted through the nose and into the stomach to measure muscle function of the esophagus.

    Small Bowel Capsule
A small camera in the shape of a pill is swallowed and takes pictures of your digestive tract.
